She is a resident of New York City. Chando attended Manhattan College prior to becoming an actor. Chando was the original Maddie Coleman of the television soap drama As World turns. Alexandra made her acting debut in 2002 with the TV series House Blend in the role in the role of Jenna Harper. As the World Turns, the CBS-recorded American soap opera, ran for three seasons. Chando was in two episodes of Glory Daze (an American comedy-drama series) as Annabelle. Her TV credits also include Castle and Hindsight.
