Dina is a native of Forest Hills Queens and raised in the Queens area. She moved into Dix Hills Long Island before the conclusion of her senior year in high school. Dina Meyer is the younger sibling of Gregory, and has an older brother called Evan. Modeling was her first job in the field. She did it from age nine to sixteen. Ron Stetson was her teacher at The Neighborhood Playhouse where she began studying Sanford Meisner's acting methods for about three years. Sandra Bullock was among those who were trained to this manner along with Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum Leslie Nielsen and Diane Keaton. Following her move to Los Angeles, she got her first role in Beverly Hills, 90210. Within the following few months, she landed the role in the role of Johnny Mnemonic. For this film, she was the one responsible for almost all the stunts and demonstrated herself as an accomplished actor. Her agent was Matt LeBlanc, so through her agent for talent, she was able to land a regular role on Friends.
